Don’t dislike what we’ve done so far, but I’m at my base/min level of expected excitement for the week. Hoping for at least a little bit of fireworks today. #LGRW
There’s alot of names left that can make this a home run draft if we keep all three picks.
Cristall!
I would love for the Wings to take a swing at Cristall. They need more swings at upside after taking the safe option early the past few drafts
I’m probably coping but I’ve convinced myself Danielson has 1C potential

Alright Dorion Bostons 1st and Zadina for the cat
Give me Molgard, Morin, and Halttunen!
For me, we’re into the « I don’t know these guys » zone. Hoping the scouts did their homework and we find some NHLers with our three second round picks
I don’t think DeBrincat will be a Wing next season. Dorion wants the package before letting teams talk to the agent. Steve isn’t going to pay when there’s that much uncertainty on the contract afterward. My guess is that Ottawa forces arb, keeps him for the year, tries to flip him at the deadline once they’re out of playoff contention again.
They’ll probably get a better return from a contender at the deadline than the Wings are willing to give right now, especially considering if the above scenario plays out, Steve has a chance to acquire him without spending assets.
