@Sabres de Buffalo

alright mr kulich time to pop off

Damn. They’re already regressing on their insanely good injury luck for forwards from last season.

Honestly 4-6 months for an achilles injury isn’t too bad all things considered. That’s usually at least a year

I’m sure there was a reason, but why would they do this a full 2 months after the season ended…

Edit: I’m an idiot, missed suffered this week

Terrible news for Quinn, but recovery at his age is easier and it opens a window for the Sabres to mix up the lineup.

He’s back November-December so he will be able to play most of the season.

    Achilles injuries are career enders.

Hopefully, he doesn’t rush back like Pacioretty tried to do

  8. BARDLER

That really sucks he will miss his off-season training. That first post rookie off-season is so important for development.

This sucks but calling Quinn a prospect after a solid rookie season strikes me as odd

No issue. Kulich or savoie can fight for the spot in camp and look to make a case to stick around.

Low-key I think this is Rousek’s opportunity. He showed in his limited games last season that he doesn’t look out of place in the NHL.

I hope he gets a shot because I think he can give the coaches so many selection headaches with his play. Not that he’d keep Quinn out when he’s back, but maybe someone else further down the roster.

Everyone whose said we’ve had good injury luck recently…. Piss off with putting this voodoo on us, we already play in a cursed city.

    Gutted.

Hope they don’t keep Olofsson around because of this, Kulich/Rousek/Savoie can all compete for that spot

Sucky news but one point in JQs favor is his age. He should heal just fine! Good luck and speedy recovery to him.

Better to happen now instead of a couple weeks before the season starts, still brutal news tho. Get well soon!

A lot of doom and gloom in this thread + twitter, I’m choosing the positive route.

The kid is 21, he’ll recover quickly. Could be back in the lineup by November

Awful news, get well soon Jack! This is where having a deep pool will come in, next man up.

They can replace Quinn with Rosen or Kilich or they could give nine games each to Benson and Savoie, which would take them to November 22nd, which is a little under five months from today and then go from there if Quinn isn’t ready to return.
