I’m not going to pretend to know anything about this pick but trading up to get Bjarnarson and then grabbing another goalie next round is off to me.
Have to imagine we’re trading goalies soon or stockpiling for the future and hoping to hit. Really wish we’d take more centers and d men.

Classic supply and demand. In 5 years we’ll have all the goalies and we can trade them at a premium
Darts on the dart board people. We’re trying to nail the goalie that supersedes Hart. These guys are at minimum 3-4 years out of the NHL (probably longer). Goalies take a long time to develop.
Drafting two 17 year olds has zero implications for Hart’s short term prospects here. C’mon guys. These guys won’t be sniffing the NHL for 5–6 years.
