This is one of the best habs news in a long time (don't personally know Newhook enough to judge that one) I really didn't want Dubois and I'm so glad we will finally stop hearing those ridiculous trade rumours
Imagine if Hughes came out today saying he traded away Dach, Anderson, Pezzetta, and a 2nd round pick for PLD!….and then learning he was making nearly 1million more than fan favorites Suzuki and Caufield! Insanity, can't believe the Kings just got fleeced like that!

Sounds like a lot of bitter Habs fans out there today blaming PLD for Hughes' failure to aquire him. To say PLD never actually wanted to be a Hab is ridiculous, almost as ridiculous as the price paid for Newhook. Just waiting on Hughes to pass on Michkov at #5 to make this the best day ever!
