They said they ran into Lipinski when they were trying to scout Daymond Langkow’s kid.

We are obsessed with Vancouver 😂. I think we have a problem lmao.

Flames really like their giants this year

Not crazy about this pick, but I’m also not a scout, so.

Just feel there are better players available that we aren’t taking. This draft seems like we’re taking big players because they’re big.

Seeing Honzek a bit in his highlights. I wonder if there is chemistry or a personal connection. Good to see either way.

We are in the crap shoot rounds so best to believe in the scouting department and hope for the best

  7. Was starting to think we might be done drafting Americans lol

From a locker-room and culture standpoint, drafting teammates makes sense. A big right handed centre is welcomed. Already has chemistry with our first rounder. Very interesting

He sounds just like Tkachuk it’s freaking me out

Continuing to build out of the City of Vancouver.

Say what you want about the Coyotes, but with Matthews and now Lipinski from Scottsdale, that franchise opened up a market to acquire talent from. Wealthy communities produce hockey players, dessert or not.

I taught this kid in high school this year.

I’ve only seen highlights of his play but I can tell you he is intelligent and a hard worker. I’ve seen a lot of Giants come through the system and he’s definitely among the tops in terms of attitude and work ethic. I think those qualities have gone a long way in his development as a player. Definitely rooting for him.

The age of the Calgary Canucks is over. The time of the Calgary Giants has come.

Looks like the Flames are trying to start their own basketball team!
