The Winnipeg Jets are processing Blake Wheelers buyout. He will be on waivers today. There will be a number of teams with interest in signing the veteran as a free agent, including the Dallas Stars.

I’m sad. Wheeler was my favorite jet since the team came back. I loved the way he played. I’ll miss you Wheeler I hope you can win a cup before you retire. I will always cheer for you.
I will never forget my favorite Blake Moments:
1. Instantly dropping the gloves in that lightning game where Brian Little broke his neck and Paul Maurice got ejected, he was the first to throw down gloves and start swinging
2. Chin Strap Celly
3. Using testicle to block shot
