Honestly, of all the logos that aren’t the orange Mighty Ducks logo that they still use, I think they picked the best one. The rest look like ECHL teams.
Frankly, our current logo isn’t as bad as everyone says it is, it’s just not as good as the classic logo, so everyone is going to irrationally hate it more.

Are the ones in the first image actual prototypes? I remember seeing the top right one in fan concepts on icethetics prior to the rebrand.
I feel like at a certain point during the rebrand process, you’d look at these options and just say « Welp, Disney absolutely nailed the logo design for a hockey team with the name ‘Ducks’ in it. We should either continue with the existing logo and just change the colors or completely change the name of the team. »
I remember that one in the top right leaked back then and some speculated it would be the logo.
The OG logo is as good as a logo gets but the webbed D is a good logo and I have not once understood the hate it gets.
In what way is it actually bad? It’s a more interesting version of the single letter logos other teams have like Calgary or Dallas that’s just a letter with some flair added
Also bringing it back to the point of this post, they definitely chose right cause those other ones are rough. The top left on the first page would be a great April fool joke logo reveal
