    Lmaooooo Calagary in the mud

Wow we have $13 million in cap space. I assumed we were in more dire straits lol. Granted trading Hall was clearly a cap dump.

    Edit: Boston fan here.

Honestly. We’ve been shit for so long.

I don’t mind waiting another year or two for some extra prospects and Mason Mctavish to get his shit together.

I do want to win, but we are still fun to watch right now. Who are we going to pick up that drastically alter’s the team rn?

  4. FillyFan777

Phillys got way more cap than that now.

Inshallah our revenge will be sweet

A lot of these are wrong. Cap Friendly doesn’t always push players into the NHL as others leave. For instance Greiss doesn’t count against the Blues cap as he is listed as UFA, but they leave Hofer out of the NHL squad.

We also need to get rid of a couple players like McGinn and Silfverberg. That will also free up more cap space

  8. HanSolo5643

No. We have seen what happens when teams try to fix things quickly.

  9. Electronic_Nail

It’s hilarious how much cap space we have and being so close… we can more than afford to go big game hunting

  10. punkrockfirefighter

    Yes, yes they should

  11. Shiny_Mew76

Yeah, they have a great young core and that could help them make a playoff push. Having veterans will also help their development.

  12. bigwreck94

Anaheim should weaponize that cap space by fleecing other teams to unload their shitty contracts that don’t have a crazy amount of time left on them.

Detroit Released Yamamoto with 30 m of cap space. Wtf?

  14. anthonyrosa02

Doesn’t Anaheim have to pay their RFA’s this offseason?

  15. Teknicsrx7

How does Calgary have no space but I just saw all these players choosing not to re-sign there?

  16. pdeagz

Our rivalry is about to get so much more fun

  17. Our money situation will be difference once our RFA’s are signed like zegras, Terry, drysdale, and dostal. Plus mctavish soon. So I don’t want us signing a bunch of bad contracts cause we have money today.

  18. Louvrecaire

It makes me cringe to realize just how little cap space we have and yet will not likely be contenders for years to come. Bullocks.

  19. mymar101

I keep hearing about how no one has money to make deals, half the league has money for one or two players.

  20. MrSCR23

Yeah but they gotta pay a ton of RFA’s. Hope those guys take team friendly deals, that’s a really fun team on paper.

  21. guzzla11

they should go back to their old logo and thatll fix all their problems

  22. MiloGoesToTheFatFarm

Glad to see the Wild are no longer in the lowest depths of salary cap hell.

  23. BurritosAndPerogis

Sorry. What does salary cap space mean ?

  24. cReddddddd

If I were them, I’d sign as many 1 year deals as I could then retain at the deadline and get as many picks as possible, but who knows? I’m not an nhl gm 🤷‍♂️

  25. WeAllStartAtZer0

    how is all this determined?
