    One of the benefits of an experienced management and coaching group that has worked together before is that they’ve worked with a lot of different people. They know where the low cost options are. I’m not into heaping too much praise on a group that gave a 30 year old on the decline with horrible defensive instincts a huge 7 year deal, but I guess it could be an advantage. We’ll see. If they overpay for these UFAs, we’re right back to square one.

    Canuck's need to become bigger, stronger and faster up front after Calgary selected 5 players who are well-skilled with two power fowards.

    Dhaliwal is never afraid to let the facts get in the way of a story. Bear and Dermont's salary is already off the books. If Poolman and Pearson remain on LTIR the Canucks can use that money otherwise they have 6.4 mil to spend.

    After all the drama and scandals last season in Vancouver, the Canucks might have to pay higher for free agents this offseason by 20% or more. The answer to this is for management to have a bit less scandals and drama this season so they can put this horror show of a season behind them.
