  2. Knies and a second for Lindholm. But
I like Lindholm, Hanafin and a pick for Karlson with the Sharks retaining $2.5 million of his salary.

  3. Islanders couldn’t do it. The guy who said that has proven to be wrong about the isles year after year. He was the one who had us sure for months Kadri was coming. Duchene would make a lot more sense it’s cheaper and doesn’t require assets, which the isles have virtually none of. Lou has shown interest in the past.

  4. Predators will take Nylander and pay him. Some nice players hitting the UFA market and 2024 even better.

  5. Hanifin for Nylander makes the most sense, Treliving wants to rebuild the Leafs blueline while the Flames are looking for another Top 6 Winger.

  6. Your audio is really quiet compared to other videos. You should turn your gain/compression up and/or move the mic closer to you. It’s hard to hear you on smaller speakers.

  7. No Dude, I think you've bungled the efforts of Otts vs Detroit. Otts had 11 regular time road game wins out of 15 out of a possible 41. They had 20 regular time home wins out of 24 or so, out of a possible 41 home games (This is not the making of a playoff club!!). I think you've been sniffin' something and its delusional. Detroit has been building especially this offseason and Otts is Cap fixed now, with high dollar contracts and very little room to grow. Play out the year, and take the bad ranking, with high draft picks and continue to build club. Period.

  8. Hey man, I just wanna say I really appreciate your grind making videos.

I definitely know it’s not easy busting out and doing the research on so many in such a short time.

Keep up the good work man

  9. So the Women's had to be Subsidized????
    SINK OR SWIM

  10. Nylander is using the clock for pressure. Just give him an offer and stop negotiating. Either he accepts it or not. If he doesn't by the trade deadline, then you have to decide to make the push with him or trade him.

  11. These players have no business sense. If they did, they would understand that because they are in the most lucrative hockey market in the world, they could capitalize on being part of a permanent member of the community and instead ear millions more from an endless amount of offers that would cater to his own wants and needs. I b lame the agents and/or the parents who judge everything from he narrow focus of the players salary for the next few years at the expense of everything else.

  12. Great report Mike.
The days of players "leaving salary on the table" for the sake of the team are long gone. Players used to do it decades ago and a few modern era players have done it…Crosby for example. It's a rare player who says "I've got my fair cut…ill take a bit less so the team can sign some better talent to improve our chance to win the Cup." It so rarely happens and that's unfortunate.

  13. Who is interested at Nylander at 10 per, anyone who sings that is a loser.

  14. Said it a million times
Tavares contract poisoned this team. They didn’t need him when they signed him, we had a young hungry team and dubas essentially fucked it. Trade them all

  15. Buf- Nylander $7m (87pts)
Tor- Olofsson, Mittelstadt (RFA) and 2nd or a 1st $7.25m til next year. (99pts)
Leafs can use the pick or Mittelstadt or both for top 4 defensemen. Both Buffalo players are looking for an increase with the Sabres next year, with looking to sign Powers by next year and with Quin ready to fill any hole left by the trade, this would make sense for both teams. Of course extension would help. Toronto probably do bridge deal with Mittelstadt and give Olofsson near the same amount as a middle 6 player, unlike Nylander, the Leafs wouldn't be stuck to term.

  16. If the Jackets were to move Kent Johnson to C, Nylander would be perfect in C-Bus. The Jackets have a ton of depth low cost contracts that need to be moved out and can make the cap work if Toronto is willing to do a Quanity for Quality trade.

  17. Please trade Nylander already, for the love of god. I won't root for a team where almost every player turns the other way when challenged, or their teammate takes a hard hit. Nylander is by far one of the softest players on the Leafs, a team known for being soft

  18. First off no one cares about ladys hockey. Next do you always talk shit?? Nothing you say ever comes true. Get some real facts before making random videos

  19. Great point . Out of the teams he wants to go to, who has the cap space? Unless he likes the desert.

  20. What about Debrincat for Huberdeau with Calgary retaining some salary on Huberdeaus huge contract.

  21. I was at the 1st playoff game against Florida in Toronto this year ,Nylander was far and away the best offensive driver / player the whole game . Trade marner or mathews . The playoffs is all that matters

  22. Matthews won't discount anything. In the NHL these days, it comes down to do you want a mansion, 10 cars and a yacht or do you want the Stanley cup? Some agents and players are picking the 1st one and then wonder why the team can't afford good enough help to get them a Stanley cup. Vegas just showed you gotta spread it around to win these days.

  23. $8.5 per yr for Willie or pack your bags finally. he needed to go last contract just sayin

  24. These spoiled brats need to be brought down a peg or two. Let him. Sit with no salary and rot.

  25. Awesome news about Womens' hockey, looking foward to see what comes next for them—VGK resigning Aiden Hill is very good for them, looking like Hill and Thompson in net for the VGK next season.

  26. Over payed, great player, how much is enough, greed, caused the Leafs to overpay the Toronto 4,get these saleries under control, money doesn't win cups, heart wins cups.

  27. Dubas messed up the Leafs, giving players huge contracts with NTCs before they earned them, Leafs probably could have managed that if Dubas had not doubled down and signed Tavares and gave him a NMC…..Now it is a mess, all the big salary players are forwards, , and one of the 'core' 4 will need to go to improve other areas of the team, as it is obvious from the playoff record that skilled but soft forwards alone cannot get it done.

  28. The problem Dubas had put on the Leafs was that he signed Tavares over 10 million dollars to which his value does not reflect that and the NTC. Then Dubas quickly jumped the pay rates to Marner and Matthews to where it should have been gradual. Dubas allowed for greed of money to set in versus doing what is right for the team. And honestly Mattews doe not need a pay increase. Nylander, I would like to see stay but at what cost ? These 4 players have literally put restrictions on the rest of the team to fill in the slots.
