  1. League minimum or no deal. Drake Caggulia brings the same game as Yamo.

  2. If I was Yamamoto and I had the chance to stay with the Oilers I think I would. If he comes roaring back with a good year, then it is win-win. The only thing that would make me reconsider is being offered a better contract elsewhere.

  3. Chance to play with the best players in the world and that love Yamo or go somewhere else for a bit more money. Stay in Edmonton Yamo. You’ll be the third like RW and if Holloway doesn’t make the team, you have the foegle, McCloed Yamo line also be able to move up if there is an injury

  4. Yamo would be a 3rd or 4th liner if he came back. There is not much of an opportunity for him to be any higher

  5. Oilers won't see the playoffs this year Holland needs to go

  6. For league min as depth, sure why not. For more, no thanks.

  7. So are we sure on the Gleason signing? Still listed as unsigned on Capfriendly. Not posted on Oilers Twitter yet either.

  8. I would rather have Lavoie, Savoie or Bourgault. Bigger and stronger. We can find a 4th line centre out of those guys. We need to move on from Yamo, sorry to say. We need to find a strong, mean defensive D man. I think Ceci can be that guy, someone just has to give him some GRIT! And nobody talks about Niemelainen at all! What’s your take Patrick? I think he has a real edge to him, but he seems to have fallen out of favour with the team. Him and Broberg step up this year, CECI gets a mean streak and suddenly out D (Having Ekholm for a full year will be massive) looks really good this year. Also, I think Darnell needs and wants to be our offensive D man. Put him on the power play and either teach Bouchard to be a defensive player or trade him for one.
