I remember at the time the change had a lot of hype around it. People thought the new look was boring but everyone was in agreement dumping the Disney logo was a step forward.
As a Ducks fan at the time I was excited but sad the best logo in the NHL was being retired.

I was super disappointed when this happened. My mom got me a JSG sweater for Christmas that year and even though we won the cup it still fills me with unhappiness.
