Don’t mind Bertuzzi, but I wish they added Killorn or Zucker. Problem with the Leafs is now ‘we’ don’t have a strong leadership core. Is Ryan Reaves going to play a full 82?

Wasn’t expecting Bruins to lose a player like this to the Leafs. He doesn’t play anything at all like a Leaf – so once Leafs get good forwards like this – it could hurt Bruins if Leafs end up stopping to over pay their present Core 3 (JT has really already aged out – thus making it now no longer a true Core 4). Why not start thinking about buying out JT in about a year? Maybe getting Wheeler from the Rangers to create cap space?
Problem is money leaf’s are over the cap good news is I think Ottawa and Detroit are way overrated the Sabres are loaded with dahlin power and Thompson but they still are young

Not bad, but seems like they could have just kept Bunting or Hyman. They give Bertuzzi 5.5 but couldn't give Hyman 5 and they couldn't give Bunting 4.5. If you look at stats, similar size, similar age, Bunting has better plus minus, similar points, both can put up 50-60 points…both can play hard. Seems odd to me. But Leafs made up for losing Bunting but I wouldn't say they got better.

Bertuzzi & Domi are Great signings ..I like it .. BUT .. now 8 million Over the Cap … possibly .. Trade ..Morgan Reilly & Matt Murray to Pittsburg .. the GM there might be interested . .. lol
They have two goalies signed and one misses heaps of time due to injuries. The defense is anchored by two studs. The rest are defensively challenged defensemen. Expecting their 40 year old defenseman to play outstanding again this year is stretching the limits of credibility. I don't care what the Leaf's hype this bucket of bolts as. This is not going to get the job done.
$5.5M for a player who has only played more than 30 games in a season, once out of the past four. Bertuzzi has played precisely HALF the games he should have at this point in his career. Yet, Frankie boy here, seems impressed at the pick up.
