Translation: “Habs Management told me that I would play in Kitchener for only one year and that they want to see me in Laval this year. My agent was also told the same… I hope to be playing in Laval this year.”
So although not a guarantee, if Mesar has the same training camp as last year I think he’s a lock to stick with the Rocket.
Excellent. I really hope the big club can stay relatively healthy and give all these kids – Mesar, Roy, Mallioux, Farrell, Reinbacher, etc. a chance to build something in Laval together this year.

I’ll be the devils advocate, I don’t like this move, 3rd League in 3 years in his development, he needs some stability, all 3 of these leagues play a completely different kind of hockey, if he put up meh Stats in OHL, don’t expect him to not put up Meh Stats in the AHL, if he proves me wrong, I’d be the happiest person here

He’s 19 and already has 2 pro seasons in Slovakia.
Getting him in the OHL last year was fine to learn the N-A lifestyle and game style. Laval is a logical step up.
Just keep expectations low. Mysak is 2 years older and had a rough go in his AHL rookie season.

He didn’t have a good year, let’s hope they see some progression. Still wish they picked Kulich.
How was his first season under habs organization?
Laval over Kitchener for Mesar isn’t even up for debate.
