Loving the moves so far, I feel like tree will set a precedent and if Nylander doesn’t budge under 10, he will be shipped out.
We need our stars to accept the sacrifices it takes to win, look at Tampa and Colorado. Buy-in or get out.
These guys dont seem to understand this market is more valuable then an additional 1 mil a year, the endorsements they get here would far exceed money they’d get in any other market.
I expect a trade of Nylander for a young winger and D under team control for a couple years.

A lot of bitching by a lot of this forum about Treliving when he was initial suggested and eventually named as GM. Quite a sight to see the turn in sentiment so quickly. Maybe this is a good lesson for y’all to chill the f out and see where things land before hopping up on your high horses and pronouncing the world is ending.

I didn’t like Treliving before they added him, I didn’t like the draft, I didn’t like the first day of free agency, but I saw the path based on the other signings for them to make a couple of good additions and make everyone happy. I didn’t think they’d find a way to get Bertuzzi to take that 1 year deal but he’s beyond a perfect fit for what they need. I thought Domi made sense. I didn’t think it would be Bertuzzi so I was ready to be happy with Tatar or even Josh Bailey but this is a huge addition.
I do still have 2 concerns. I think they have to move Timmins or Jarnkrok to get Samsonov signed because I think they have to buy out Murray. And I still don’t like the Reaves signing, not because of what Reaves is, because of what it does to our lines. For David Kampf to be effective in the role you want him in, you can’t saddle him with Reaves, so you have to keep them separate. So now your 3rd line is a defensive line centered by Kampf and your 4th line is an energy line with Reaves. Domi and Bertuzzi I think give them a lot of options to shuffle the top 6.
Also, just thought of this. How about a quick season starting shift with Bertuzzi on the left, Domi in the middle and Reaves on the right side. Let’s change the culture a bit!!
