This feels like a very full circle thing for me and definitely makes me feel old. I fell in love with the Leafs where Tie Domi was smashing skulls and fighting fans in the penalty box alongside with some of my hockey heroes like Sundin, Tucker, Cujo, Pat Quinn and now fast forward to today and we have the son of Tie finally coming home to play for the team that Tie made his name for and hopefully in such a short time here, Max can possibly build upon that legacy that his father and godfather paved the way for him. My nephew used to play for Don Mills Flyers and his game would be just before domi’s game and there’s 4-6 rinks in the arena and no father would watch their own kids game because they were all watching this kid it was packed!! But if I’m honest if leafs are trying to get control of the locker room then he is going to be a problem because he is a bit of know it all and talks way too much and has his dads crappy attitude & his dad is a jerk a bunch of kids were all asking for autographs and he says “ ok kids make a line right here “ and then turns his back and doesn’t sign nothing!! To kids !!!! Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and the whole league knows it. Get rid of matthews and build a proper team with the money

I would love to see Max Domi go absolutely hogwild and have the best career year of his life betting on himself and going into free agency then again next year when the cap expands, I can honestly see if that happens the leafs would offer him a multiyear deal but Way to go young man bet on yourself that heavily and I hope you get the deal that you deserve. I loved your dad playing for the leafs. I would love to see you playing for the next 56 years for the leafs as well, tenacity, fortitude, determination, and willingness to work.

If that means you block a shot you pinch the guy in the corner you do what ever you’re hired a 280 foot or 320 foot skater.
