Michkov will win the Calder in his first year. He shouldn't for the same reason Gretzky wasn't eligible to win the 1980 Calder Trophy (played in a pro league) but Michkov will win it. What year this will be? Who knows.
Michkov is entitled and despicable with his teammates according to multiple reports. Good luck Flyers team chemistry with this guy.
Unfortunately, the "bloodline" I'd prefer they pick was Perrault at #22 :-///
I would pump a whole roster into Jackie Redmond.
He literally looks angry that they picked him. His face devoid of emotion and full of disdain. The Flyers and Michkov both know the same thing, he was drafted to he traded. The Flyers didn’t want him going to the Caps in the metro, so they picked him so the Capitals couldn’t. He’ll be traded to a WC team when his KHL deal expires or a team acquires his rights and buys him out.
Jackie Redmond is great.
Danny Briere is doing a great job so far as GM, but I guess we shouldn't be surprised as he's traveled the world for years as a scout and worked for teams at many levels in many roles.
