It didn’t surprise me that Button claimed to have been unsure whether the Leafs’ team that had added players in free agency had gotten better than the one that had exited Scotiabank Arena ice after the fifth and final game of their 2023 conference semifinal. He starts discussing why that is starting at the 30-second mark of the video. I’m not sure either but that’s because the remade team hasn’t played a game together and won’t get to do so until well into September when preseason play begins.

Nylander gave a list of ten teams he CAN NOT be traded to. If you’re paid to give hockey info to the public at least do a little bit of homework. Button, Dreger, TSN just needs to do better. These guys ain’t it
Lets say Willie gets close to his number. The D looks shaky, goalies..well I've seen better. Spit balling, it places them close to 10 Mill over the cap. Maybe that have to trade Willie, but it was Marner who would have brought the rewards. His haul would have given picks, prospects and cap relief. Teams looks solid, but it has big holes. The hard cap is hurting hockey.
gm's real challenge is florida exposed the leafs fluff four can't counter physical play . they don't score!
