@Red Wings de Détroit

En voyant un peu de bavardage sur Twitter à ce sujet, les Wings devraient-ils se lancer dans l’échange de Nylander, en supposant qu’une prolongation serait négociée avant que l’échange ne soit finalisé ?

I for one would be through the roof

He apparently wants around 10m. I like Nylander, but I don’t want to give 10m to a player like him.

  3. Finnish_Jager

100% yes. His extension better not start with a number higher than a 9 but we should strongly consider it.

  4. EarthenChild

8.75, 9 max and I’d do it. Think he’d take a four year deal? I imagine he’s looking for max term, but who knows

  5. reznorwings

Sure? But Steve likely won’t offer the pieces to beat other teams. Nor will he sign Nylander to an offer beyond 5 years.

I’m pretty sure you can scratch us off the list unless they get desperate.

  6. cronin98

Absolutely. He’d instantly become one of our best players. Should Yzerman give him $10m? No. I’d hope for $9m with Nylander.

  7. thefonzz91

What do we have to offer them though? They’re going to want nhl ready talent.

  8. magikarp-sushi

Probably not where we currently sit.

So who would we trade? Raymond?

  10. Hotel_Putingrad

I don’t see Stevie paying anyone more than Larkin. That being said, Nylander would be a great addition.

I like Nylander more than Cat and would be willing to overpay him a bit more than Cat, the problem being that I sincerely doubt they trade with us for anything that doesn’t include Seider+ things or Raymond + more things than Seider. They aren’t going to be interested in only our prospects and firsts imo

  13. ChucklesLeClown

    I say yes if he’s signs to a 8x9AAV.

Maatta, Hanas, Reimer and DET 2024 1st for Nylander and Murray(25% retained).

  14. alexmullen4180

Nylander for 7x10M or even 8x10M would be a nice add. He immediately walks through the door as our best or 2nd best forward and 10M is what a player that scores 95 points is gonna get from any team. That contract might even look good in a couple years if we get the expected cap spike in 2025.

  15. some1337

Sign him in the offseason instead of sending assets to Toronto.

  16. He was better than Matthews in the playoffs

  17. onbiver9871

Yes, definitely yes, but omg not at that price, so no, definitely no.

  18. To minimize the assets we lose, we take on Murray. Then waive his bum ass.

  19. CheapDutchman13

He’s soft as butter. Hard pass from me.

  20. sogladatwork

He thinks he’s a $10m player. There’s zero chance Yzerman would feel the same way.

  21. Langwaa12

Walman, brergren, next yrs Boston 1st rnder we got. Eat maybe there goalie problem they got.

  22. LawrkenTTV

Ain’t gonna happen. I’m not holding my breath on any big time scorers until they’re actually on the team. I learned my lesson with ADB

  23. Unstep-in-Time

If Larkin’s AAV is 8.7, I’d value Nylander at 8.75..+

  24. burnmenowz

Meh pass. Good player, but the wings aren’t at the point where we need a 10M player.

  25. leafssuck69

Gotta think any offer from the Leafs starts with Raymond

  26. MacPh1sto

For the 10000000th time, no. He’s not worth 6/yr. I’d rather have Bertuzzi. Or someone with sandpaper.

  27. hexsealedfusion

His ask is 10M AAV so depends if you think he’s worth that.
