    Darryl is gone. As much as people may hate to admit, those who remember this season will recall he played a key role in getting them to the finals.

    Everyone bought in and played their asses off during those playoffs. I still remember Darryl booked the team into the WestIn in Calgary to keep them focused for home games. The city was crazy.

    These guys played a tight checking style, relatively low scoring, style of hockey. Kipper took care of the rest. They were a very tough opponent to play against. The 2021-22 Flames reminded me of them and it’s too bad they broke apart.
