That’s encouraging, but it’s not done until it’s done, so I think everyone will still feel uncertain until there’s an official announcement.

I said this on another site, and I think it bears repeating. Shayyya pissed off *a lot* of the old guard reporters around the deadline when she was able to scoop almost every major trade before guys who had spent decades embedding themselves in the field. If there was any chance her report about this was false, they would have eaten her alive. The fact that its been completely radio silence on this front after she put that out there speaks volumes.

Canes hate looking desperate for cash, so probably trying to find a good trade target for Teuvo, Pesce, or Skjei so they get value before they are over cap and lose out on good returns for amazing pieces.

This team looks like it could be impossibly stacked. Huge challenge for Rod to manage them and ensure they meet the sky-high expectations.
