Too bad it didn’t make him better

  2. artwarrior

Will he pull a Larry Murphy?

    Time will tell.

  3. micatola

Is he like ‘The Hollk’ now because there was a metric shitton of criticism.

  4. ESF-hockeeyyy

Thank you for following the new Twitter submission format! This is much better than the previous way of doing this. Hopefully Twitter sorts its shit out soon.

He must be the strongest man alive then.

You know what, good for him, I’m seeing a bunch of hate and his time here wasn’t great, but also, the noise of Toronto can be a burden so him having fun with it and not being super upset like “the Toronto Media ran me out of town” he’s being mature about it

Fuck he’s being traded to a contender isn’t he and will also have a “fuck anyone who doubted me in Toronto” speech while lifting the cup isn’t he?

  7. BrokenBy

Would’ve been funnier if David Clarkson had this quote though

Love how much ppl give a fuck once a guy is on another team.. guys trash who cares what he thinks tbh

  9. Seacord

Nothing but love for this man. Great human, paid like a 3rd pair, played like a 2nd pair.

Soft, but effective. Best of luck in Detroit, Holler.

What doesn’t kill you makes you blow coverage in the D zone every shift

  11. XPhazeX

If that were the case, Holl would be built like the guy in the push-up meme

  12. VitaminTea

Pretty interested to see the folks who ran Holl out of town watch Klingberg play defence for twice the AAV this season

He’ll be a brilliant tank commander.

  14. RADToronto

Nice to see he’s a cup half full type of guy.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

I was a big fan of Justin Holl during the Marlies Cup run in 2018. He looked legitimately good during his time in the AHL, but that hasn’t translated to the NHL level.

Justin Holl’s skill level is very replaceable, so moving on made sense for both Justin and the Leafs.

Wish him the best in staying in the league.

He was an incredibly frustrating player but still good to see him get paid and it wasn’t our team that overpaid him. Still wish we kept sandin over holl

NHL players have got to be some of the softest in pro sports when it comes to media, attention and fame. He was on the ice for almost every Tampa goal against this playoffs. Play better if you don’t want the heat

He was never used right here because Keefe loved the guy and put him in situations that were beyond his abilities.

Dude put up with a lot of shit in Toronto. He earned that payday just for that. Just happy it wasn’t us that gave it to him and that Keefe lost one of his toys.

I can’t blame a guy for giving it his all, and was just misplayed by his coach.

At least Detroit will have stronger eardrums now!

  21. ShinyVuIpix

He’s a good human. Wish him nothing but the best.
