@Oilers d'Edmonton

U are killing it with the off-season content 🔥

Can you do one on Matthews or Pastrnak?

  2. He is indeed THE apex skater in generations. The guy combines dynamic skating with ALL other important skills like no other! It is not that all the defenders and goalies are beginners in what they do – they are on the very top themselves and then there comes a guy who makes them look ridiculous on a daily bases!

God, I wish he would have a decent team around him so he could fill his trophy cabinet with the one single trophy that really matters…

Tripple digits with 50 goals for 23/24

  3. I wonder how well Patrick Maroon would have done with this goal shooting McDavid. Probably not that good. McDavid is a SNIPER.

  4. It’s crazy that this season should’ve been his second 150+ point season. He was on pace for 154 points in the 20/21 season. Imagine him back in the 80’s, he would’ve gotten 120 goals and probably close to 300 points lol.

  5. We all know the Oilers can win games that are shooting festivals. But they need to play all season like it's the playoffs if they want to win in the playoffs.

  6. It's a nice narrative, but not entirely true. What changed was the Oilers got more power plays, McDavid's unit played more power play and scored more power play goals, leading to more power play points. On even strength he actually scored less points than in the 2021-22 season.

  7. Love these break down videos. Recently subscribed glad I did really like this channel.

  8. McDavid 2023: Outright led the league in goals, assists & points.

Who is the last person to do this?

    Wayne Gretzky in 1986.

  9. Great video. One note, would have been interesting to see what Vegas did to slow him down at all

  10. He really is just ridiculous. By far the most dominate player in all of sports, no one comes even close to what he does

  11. League leading 153 points by a large margin with a +/- of only +22 and a -1 +/- in the playoffs. Lousy.

  12. he isnt the greatest player at all, IF However he helped his team on the back end and Defended and stoppied giving up the puck so much then year i would go along with him being the Greatest of the modern day BUT his high turn over rate that costs his team goals and his piss poor D work to help his team out just doesnt sell it for me and his line make Leon D is just the same.

they dont even make an effort and half the time when the opposing team goes on the attack after loasing the puck in there zone they go straight switching lines.

so if he wants to get better help on the D and stopping handing over the puck so much, with your Speed and skills you could stop the opposition easy enough ffs but you dont and its sad to watc, and his fanboys just cant handle the truth of it. atleast Wayne said he couldnt Defend but sure as shit tried his best ever time he was on the ice, CM doesnt even do that

  13. Wanna defend against McDavid? All D-men should be watching tape from the 2022 western conference finals against Colorado and how well Makar / Toewes shutdown that line. It was a thing of beauty.

  14. Ya know, i also think a large portion to his shooting upgrade is because of leon. I feel like behind the scenes leon made connor trust him to take care of the playmaking. Leon did say that connor was going to score 60 before the season began and then in an interview connor said in the offseason leon told him to get 60 goals. I feel like McDavid was convinced that he didnt need to be the play making force in the team anymore and to leave it to the rest. Asides leon, nugent hopkins was always a playmaker and is currently a super underrated two way player.
