One year in Europe. One year in AHL. Then he can come and cover Hutson’s ass while he go out and win his Norris. Good plan guys?

    Please don’t rush 🙏

  3. One more year in Europe would be appropriate imo.

We’re probably going to stink again this season, or at least be a *little* better than last year… Combined with the draft day negativity I think it would be best for him to be kept away from it all.

No need to rush whatsoever, unless we make more trades we have too many defensemen anyway.

2026 is gonna be impressive, Cole, Suzi, Dach, Slaf, Hook, Arber, Guhle, Barron, Harris, Dobes, Primeau will be entering their prime!

Hutson, David, Roy, Mailloux and potentially a few more prospects will have made it or been traded.

Goalie is still the biggest question in my mind.

They’re going to fuck this up, aren’t they? They’ll keep him after camp because he’s young and full of energy so he looks good against veterans playing at 70%, then by December the NHL grind will wear him out and teams will have film on him, he’ll become a liability on the ice, get frustrated or injured, either way he won’t develop. The team won’t send him to the AHL because they feel that’s a step backwards, his development will be stunted, but they’ll just put it on the player.

    Any of that sound familiar?

Before he was drafted, he said in an interview that he’d prefer to go back to NLA to his team because he’s already established there and has comfort with the team.

I’d like him to do the AHL to get used to the ice but I’m cool with Europe too. Just don’t want him rushed, I want him to be a corner stone for us for years to come
