Sounds pretty dead to me. Tarasenko apparently didn’t like the Canes offer and since it appears to have been the best out there, he fired his agent and hired a new one to start over.

Yeah. Sounds like his former agent was acting with a little too much autonomy, and then when he went to Tarasenko with the offer that he’d agreed to with Don (and possibly other GMs), that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
