Not sure to be honest. Every metro team has a solid chance to win it this coming year, so it will come down to it being very close.

  2. taftpanda

    The Philadelphia Flyers

    I will not elaborate

  3. StonedImaculate420

If the Penguins get Karlsson, I think they’ll get win the division. I could also see Carolina being legit this year so legit that they don’t get swept in the ECF.

I say the canes and the devils will be at the top, but I’m not really sure who takes the title. Both teams have had significant offseason additions and it’s going to be a battle all season long. I don’t really see the Rangers going away, so I say they more than likely snag the third spot.

I think the pens will probably find their way back into the postseason as well. I feel like they’re more of a wild card team, but if Jarry has a comeback year and their new additions pan out they may have a shot at one of the three divisional spots.

The isles slipping into a wild card spot wouldn’t surprise me either. Doubt the caps make much noise, but they could also step it up if they stay healthy. BJ’s are questionable. Flyers are in full tank.

  5. Mitcheeeey

I think the table stays the same, Canes Devils and Rangers round out the 3, and Islanders make playoffs this year

  6. Metalhead831

The top is the devils and canes. The bottom is Philadelphia, Washington, and Columbus. The middle spots are anyone’s game imo

  7. CommodoreN7

Canes and Devils are clear top 2 with Rangers likely in third. No idea how it plays out after that

  8. HockeyGoalieEh

NJD the victors with CAR and NYR also in. The two wild cards probably go to the Atlantic.

  9. WubbaLubbaDubDub184

    #1. Canes
    #2. Devils
    #3. Rangers
    #4. Isles
    #5. Pens
    #6. Blue Jackets
    #7. Caps
    #8. Flyers

I’m fairly certain about the top 3, mostly certain about the Isles, the rest are gonna be fairly close I think.

Don’t undersell the Caps, they started last season with a long list of injured and underperforming vets.

I think with their new coach, a few new role players joining the team off their Calder cup win, and healthy vets – they could be a surprise to snag that 3rd spot behind the Canes and Devs.

    Rangers 4th,

    Pens 5th,

    Isles 6th,

    Phi 7th,

    Cbj 8th

Please have us not be last, that’s all I expect

  14. LukeyMagukey

    We’ll talk after offseason.

  15. jkman61494

I feel like the Pens are gonna rebound big time and the rangers take a step back but still get a WC

I also feel like the isles take a major step back. They’re just not improving.

  16. cobycheese31

What is the orange and black team?

  17. rambored89

Devils win the division, beat the canes by 3 points. Rangers come in third. The wildcard spots both go to the Atlantic

  18. redstonetimewaster

    CANES
    DEVILS
    PITTSBURGH
    RANGERS
    ISLANDERS
    FLYERS
    JACKETS
    WASHINGTON

  19. Yung_Corneliois

It’ll be canes and we face off in the first round but this time we win? Yea that’s what’ll happen.

  20. JennyPunk87

The Pens of course, no bias here 😉

  21. GrassyKnoll95

Devils, Canes, Rangers. Atlantic gets 5 teams

  22. FlyersCowboys79

Fully expecting to be last and I am EXCITED for it, don’t worry CBJ fans, we’ll take your spot for this year

  23. DoubleDumpsterFire

    Carolina

    Jersey

    Pittsburgh

    NYR

    NYI

    Washington

    Columbus

    Philly

  24. mihelic8

(I pray) the Pens are going to rebound, with that being said they somehow always come in 2nd. Honestly I can see any one of these teams winning the division, but if I had to put money on it? Rangers. They remind me of the Bruins of this past season where they have a bunch of older dudes just going all in

  25. shanster925

Playoffs – Devils, Rangers, Penguins, Hurricanes.

Division – Rangers. I have a sense that Shesterkin is going to go off again, and Devils are going to be unexpectedly 3rd, not fighting for top spot as expected (I agree that they look amazing on paper, this is just a baseless hunch)

  27. Ok_Bar7444

If my Jackets can stay healthy this year I believe we’ll make the playoffs. We got the talent, we got leadership, all we need is health & fortune.

  28. mothereffinb

    NJ to win
    Carolina
    NYR
    Columbus

With Carolina making it to the semis

  29. Ok_Bar7444

Canes, Devils, Rangers, CBJ (if healthy this year), Isles, Pens, Caps, & Flyers. I’m biased. But, we added alot of depth. Also many of our rookies had tons of experience last year, being thrown to the wolves. Now only if Merzlikins can stop a puck.

  30. Grimmer026

Is there any kind of stats where so called “winners of the off-season” actually translate to winning in the regular season? Seems like it usually doesn’t meet expectations

  31. Commercial_Click_367

    Here’s my prediction.
    1. Carolina
    2. NJ
    3. NYR
    4. Pens (WC1)
    5. Columbus (WC2)
    6. NYI
    7. Washington
    8. Flyers (bottom of league)

  32. Significant-Web5427

Canes take the 1st spot .
Rangers/devils fights for second place well over 10points behind canes.

Columbus suprises and fights hard for wc and takes the spot in second to last game. Mark my words.
Fourth place is mystery. No telling who takes that spot
