Grondement sur un échange de Brett Pesce

https://predlines.com/2023/07/06/nashville-predators-pesce-trade/ Qu’en pensez-vous ? L’article indique que Fabbro irait probablement dans l’autre sens

Would give the Preds 8 D on 1 way contracts. I would imagine a D would go over (Carrier?). Also what else would it take? Maybe one of their 3 2nd rounders in 2024 and a mid level prospect? Canes are in win now mode so unless it’s a cap dump to get a Karlsson they’ll want NHL players in return most likely. I think the fit is there for Pesce to play top RD next to Josi. Also, what does his next contract look like? Lots of questions about this trade but the fit on the Preds side is there

Great player but seems like another Poile type move that would put them in the middle again and drafting 15th again. The exact type of thing they shouldn’t be doing anymore

I wonder if they could send Barrie and Fabbro to the Sharks and maybe get a protected 1st back?

If we aren’t going after any big name RFA or trading for a player like Nylander or Debrincat, I’m all for using the rest of our cap space for teams to dump contracts.

Give us Matt Murray and a 1st for future considerations, and Pesce + picks/prospects for Fabbro.

I don’t understand. Why would we give away a young player if this is a cap dump scenario?

One-way, two-way yadda yadda. I like the three-way. But as described: Preds, Canes, Wild, Sharks is a four-way and somebody’s feelings are going to get hurt.

We should get rid of Fabbro. We mishandled him in his developmental phase and he is not getting better.
