Barring a sudden shift, and as always things can change very quickly, my guess is that the Alex DeBrincat situation has held up Ottawa from signing Tarasenko. Once he’s moved, likely to the #LGRW , that will open door for Tarasenko to sign with Ottawa.

Of course I want Tarasenko in Carolina but if it doesn’t happen…well too bad🤷. I believe in turtleneck I’m pretty sure he got a plan B even a plan C.
Enjoy missing the playoffs rather than chasing another cup with your best friend I guess lol
This seems like wild speculation. r/hockey wasn’t buying this earlier today.
I’m becoming numb to the trade news.
SNIP SNAP SNIP SNAP SNIP SNAP
Whatever happens is whatever, I’m refreshing twitter so much my fingers bleed. If he signs with Ottawa, not my monkeys not my circus.
I’m over it (not really)
I believe nothing I read until a contract and term is attached to it.
What’s a legitimate reason to pick Ottawa over Carolina? Would have to be a lot more.
Even St. Lois fans said this guy is kind of full of it. So not really buying that he’s got any real info here.
It’s purely speculation around the recent news that there has become 2 final teams for debrincat.

OK?
I mean, whatever, if it happens great, if it doesn’t we move on. There have to be at least a dozen players we could get via trade either now or at the trade deadline. No big whoop.
