It’s time for the stray Cat to come home.
Today is the day, people. Ottawa’s GM likely told SY and ADB that they had until the end of the week to hammer this out so he could move on and make final moves for their roster. I also assume Detroit and Ottawa have agreed to a deal pending the outcome of contract negotiations.
There’s no way Tarasenko waits too much longer to land a deal too. It’s movement time.
Knowing ADB wants to be here, I hope SY plays hardball to the last moment and gets that contract right where he wants it.
Has anyone actually verified that DeBrincat is a real hockey player? Like do we know for certain he isn’t just a concept like love, or Santa?
I’m looking forward to more news on how close we are to landing the Cat via trade

Anyone else hoping we’d get Konecny over Debrincat?
Don’t get me wrong, ADB would be a fantastic player. Konecny on the other hand brings scoring with some grit along side. The price would obviously be higher, but the payoff of having a player like TK would justify the price imo.

How do I work part time and still make around 40k a year? I worked as a chef for 16 years, low money, tons of working hours. I’m in skilled trades now, same dilemma. What do you guys do for work? Are you happy? Is there a work life balance?
Bruh some people in this sub really overvalue Veleno for no reason. Berger is easily the better player right?

I know Kasper might not be ready, if he is not I really think one of our rookies should make the lineup on forward. They have to be ready, but we have Soderbloom, Mazur, Kasper and Mayne further on Lombardi and Danielsson to blend in o er the next few years.

I’m fully prepared to give up a tiny more than we now anticipate in a Debrincat deal, but it would just be hilarious if the Wings just completely ripped Ottawa off. Like John Lethomen’s rights and 2 6th round picks for ADB
