DeBrincat, last year, played with a center (Shane Pinto) who is not a good playmaker. A sniper needs good passes. He would slack off at times defensively. He complemented Chabot and Stutzle on the powerplay and Detroit also has some very good offensive players. Many fans in Ottawa thought that he was a soft player but he can go in the corners and he surprised many by winning a couple of fights. A skilled player who might do really well in Detroit.
Itâs nice to see a homegrown player want to come back and play for the team he rooted for growing up.
We should try to trade for Erik Karlsson from San Jose now. Heâs available.
