I wonder what the cost would be for Detroit to acquire Kyle Connor. Imagine having Kyle Connor Dylan Larkin and Alex DeBrincat as your top line. You could call that line "The Michigan line." I know it would cost a lot to acquire Kyle Connor. 2026 & 2027 1st Alexandre Doucet and Andrew Copp?

Alex Chaisson had (5)PPG’s in just 20 games played to Perron being the trigger all season and missing the net 80% of the time, then taking a penalty out of embarrassment.. 😂
DeBrincat better be able to produce more than 6 PPG’s.
If Perron is on pp1 to begin the year, that should be concerning..
you have to have somebody who can feed Debrincat cross ice passes and preferably on the rush. Perron would be ideal if he had more speed. go look at Debrincats highlights with Kane. Felt like 70%+ of his goals were on cross ice feeds and he was deadly. Perron can feed the puck but it seems like with Larkins speed that another guy that could counterattack would make the Larkin, Debrincat combo light up. not sure we have that guy. I know it seems nuts and they want Kasper to play Center, but wouldnt his profile and speed and decent size really fit well together with Debrincat and Larkin??

So lemme get this straight. We traded a 21 goal scorer(avg) for a 31 goal scorer(avg) and paid millions more and lost a bunch of good draft picks for 10 goals a year more? This isn’t even a close deal. Ottawa totally fleeced the red wings. What a terrible trade
