We should have traded down. We reached for Leo. It's just not me; just about everyone thinks the same. Then we sign a 33-year-old for three years? Why would Killorn, a champion, sign with the worst team in the NHL? Because the Ducks offered way more money than any other NHL team by far? We are rebuilding, why would we need a 33-year-old overpaid veteran on his last contract? Sign a new head coach with zero NHL experience? I am tired of the team losing and being optimistic about the next year….old news. If the moves do not add up, and they do not so far, changes need to be made asap.
In the days leading up to the draft, I was checking out a lot in videos and articles about players to watch who could turn into big time mid-round steals. Carey Terrance was a name that kept showing up in multiple videos and I was hoping he would end up getting drafted by the Ducks. When pick 59 was announced I celebrated like they just won the Stanley Cup. I think him and Sidorov will battle for biggest Ducks steal from this draft when the dust clears.
You'll be happy with Yegor Sidorov guy was put on this earth to just score goals … Only behind Minty he looked the best in the prospect camp , also he plays fast and hard at all times which is a huge plus … Last year in WHL 40g and 36a in 53 games played , possibly steal of the draft contender … Carlsson looked great too so smooth and in absolute control on the ice and you can just tell he's going to develop into a absolute star in the league
