Good image, wish it was of him in the jersey of a team that respected him.
cialonetc
He will go down as one of the streakiest goalies in a Pittsburgh jersey.
Porkchopp33
He always had great looking equipment

First Ballot HOF.
Yes.
You can debate the validity of his 3 cup wins and him probably ending his career top 3 all time in wins until you’re blue in the face…. But his Vezina trophy sealed it.

In Finland we say: Markku Antero Kukkanen
Hey_look_new
I’m not sure he’ll be a first ballot guy, but I think he has the resume to end up in the HoF at some point
Durmyyyy
When it comes to players that /r/nhl loves to suck off he is unanimous 1st ballot
No_Style_8667
Great player even better person.one of the best goalies in the nhl

Love him.

Easily. Three cup wins, his Vezina, and his stats. What even is there to debate about?
nem704
Most overrated goalie in modern NHL history
Cost his team multiple cups because of his playoff no-shows
Only once a top-10 goalie statistically in Pittsburgh
I’d put in Thomas Vokoun before I’d put Fleuey in the HOF but he’ll get in solely due to being likeable and career accumulation
I looked at his GSAx (only goes back to 2009 and minimum 25 GP)

Name another goalie who could have this bad of a career and get in the Hall
He averages finishing as the 23rd best goalie in the league over a 15 year stretch, how the fuck this dude will end up getting in the Hall of Fame is beyond me
maximusasinus
The Vezina puts him over the top. Without it I think he is in the Hall of Very Good.
Dempsyfromearth2
I liked him during his stint on the penguins however i tended to call him flounder, he was always in his back
Agreed nice guy though

phoney_bologna
He deserves it.
A winner on and off the ice. Everything he does is with grace and professionalism. These are the kind of athletes we want to model our game around.
I would love to see MAF get first ballot recognition.

Heart breaking he never got to be on a team that fully appreciated him.
