What if Oilers lose both McLeod and Bouchard? Could that happen?

If rhe Oilers dont make the Cup this year, we need to trade all the younger guys we can for more grit and veterans. We need to be harder to play against in the 3rd and 4th. I like Ryan and Mcleod and even yamamoto. But they are small skilled players. We cant have every center on our team not be gritty.
Losing koskin was a big loss. We dont have anyone tough now.
Nurse and kane arent smart tough. Notice how both got suspended for key games or key penalties during rhe playoffs
Not going to be easy to make that work.
Paying Nurse 9 mil is part of the problem that will be on going and not having the money to pay other players.

Well McLeod might have to go to make things work
McLeod played ball for the Oilers last season. He waited and waited before agreeing to sign a lower contract to “help” the team. Originally they wanted to sign him for 2 years at a higher AAV last year but had no money left. He was promised that they’d make it up to him after the season was over and he’s already been a “team” player and wants what he feels he’s worth. Can’t blame him.
Ryan is not worth the money, easily replaced. He’s soft, 23pts not good at anything. Laughton from Philly would be a better add. Cya later Ryan.
Shitty, he's a great bottom six piece. Frees up RNH to go top six, and gives a lot of speed and quick plays.
