La LNH est dans un état très étrange. Les joueurs premium ne recherchent plus les prix premium, en grande partie parce que de nombreuses équipes n’ont pas l’espace de plafond ou les atouts pour les obtenir. On le voit avec les Jets de Winnipeg qui magasinent activement Mark Scheifele, un marqueur de 40 buts. et Connor Hellebuyck, un gagnant du trophée Veznia. Il ne semble tout simplement pas y avoir beaucoup d’équipes offrant de gros atouts à ces joueurs en raison de leurs propres barrages routiers, d’où la raison pour laquelle il n’y a pas eu beaucoup de traction sur le duo. Put schief and hellebuyck in the same package, 2 first rounds and a decent player, because we have brossoit and he said he will probably resign next year when his deal is up
Hellebuyck needs to be traded first. Why? Because if they trade him to Buffalo, they could get Cozens and UPL or Greemway. If they traded him to the Devils, they could get Mercer and Schmid or Vanijek. Point is: If they trade Hellebuyck and get a Center in the deal, they have less pressure to move Scheifele because they got a Center in the Hellebuyck trade. But do trade Scheifele! Don't wait. Don't lose them for nothing.
Helly and/or Schiefs need to be traded for some quality D…schiefs is a hard sell as he's got such horrendous 2 way play but we can afford to loose him…helly would hurt but only because primary forwards like wheeler (gone) dubois (gone) and schiefs (still here) cannot or will not play defence…I'll give it to wheeler he was getting older so not as quick but MS and PLD no excuse… MS will be hard to get a quality trade because of his attitude and complete lack of any kind of will to be defensive…
we have to keep them for 1 more year and hope for a good run ……..
Scheif is part of the old gaurd and needs to go to let the locker room breathe.
Teams are not going to want to pony up the cost for Helly. Assets sure, salary he wants…nope! Thankful he wants to go to a US team.
