Solar bears would have been a cooler logo for the same state but that’s pretty much all I know about the ECHL.
I’m originally from Buffalo but moved to Jacksonville 3 years ago. I’ve been to many Icemen games and it’s always a good time.
Jacksonville is surprisingly a great hockey town and had the highest average attendance in the ECHL last year (Actually higher than Rochesters average)
The owners have deep pockets and just built an amazing new public rink complex where the team trains & keeps their offices. It’s nicer than any rink in Buffalo (besides Harborcenter)
I’ll probably be getting season tickets now. LGI

It’s easily one of the top 10 swamp cities in northeastern Florida
The IceMen were founded in my hometown, Evansville. I covered their games for my college newspaper until the owner and mayor got into a dick measuring contest about arena rent and they relocated. This is a cool moment for me.
Of course the only 2 times ADK plays jacksonville they are in Jacksonville.
