    I would love to see Nylander + Lilligren for Pesce and Skej. Then trade Brodie for a 3rd or 4th . That would make our defense much stronger.

    That deal sucks for the Hurricanes. Neces is nearly a point per game guy now – close to it. He's developing very nicely. That deal doesn't make sense for Carolina!

    Isles need Nylander more than Konecny. Their whole team is full of the latter type

    Sign and trade Willy 5 years 10 mill to jets for Helly after he signs5 years at 8 mill deal for purpose of trade

    Galchenyuk was here in Minnesota for 1 year and don't think he had any old ice issues just didn't score.

    Ewwww, that’s an awful deal from a Canes perspective. No one wants an older bound to be overpriced UFA Nylander for a cost controlled almost point per game younger player in Necas. Unrealistic as well from how the Canes have operated in the past. They wouldn’t even give up Necas and Jarvis for Eichel a couple years ago, they arent gonna give a Necas + Pesce package for Nylander.

    Nylander views himself as a 10 mil player when compared to the leafs top players. He doesn't want to compare to other teams top players who produce the same or better, that make less then what wants because it hurts his value. 9 mil is a good aav on long term deal.

    Nylander to Calgary? Nylander to Colorado? Sending him to the Western conference makes more sense. Than giving him to Carolina. A top rival in the East.

    Not likely… funny these wishful Toronto fans. Canes aren’t giving away talent for another teams contract troubles. Management is very financially frugal

    Canes won't want to pay Nylander much more than Aho, so that puts it around 8.5-8.8M. Less taxes in Carolina, so perhaps. Pesce and Necas would be a good package in return. Think it's important that Leafs finally draw a line in the sand, and trade out players making unreasonable demands, even the so called core players. Don't like the attitude of the other 2 so called core members either, but can't trade all of them.

    Poor Galchenyuk hes young and dumb, but needs counselking. He has all the talent in the world…. if only he didnt pass the puck to oppositions breakaways.

    San Jose is better off to rebuild organically than buying that Nylander millstone

    I believe Briere is still open to trading Konecny, but not for the suggested package. J.G. Pageau is too old to fit the rebuild timeline, and Wahlstrom plays RW which is the only spot where the Flyers are loaded. Personally, I think Konecny's value will never be higher due to career yr, age, reasonable AAV for 2yrs. He should go if a likely mid-first rounder and a good prospect can be had.
