Could the 3rd team for EK be Chicago? They only have 4dmen on the roster and it's def closer to petrys family.
Did Sullivan negotiate his contract directly with FSG and cut hextall out of the discussions?

Honestly, I am so sick of this Karlsson banter it is all speculation based on "talks" back on July 1. This hype is generated by a bunch of gamer hockey fans who get glossy eyed over these speculative potentials of a "star" filled dream team. It simply doesn't work in reality but it does work on your NHL 2023 gaming system. Players have egos and they have emotion and that is a genuine factor. I can't see Letang giving up much of anything in terms of minutes, PP time or real estate to another player that is almost identical to him in terms of skill sets and style. Further, what team is successful that fully abandons any form of actual DEFENSE in their line-up? That is what would happen with a Letang & Karlsson duo in the line-up (even if they are on different pairings). Really good teams have strong balance up and down the line-up look at Vegas. No hot-shot starts on D or even O….. but a line-up that is filled with 20 players who are very well rounded. The recent contracts of Letang and Malkin allows them to be stronger in the bottom 6 and D. It would be industrial strength dumb to go out and get more high priced stars that replicated the strengths already have! They would be far better off using the capital (caps space) to get stronger deeper in the lineup. MOVE ON ALREADY.
