Great job as always. Interestingly, the entire 2nd pairing of D will be new. This pushes the former 2nd to 10 minutes a game (Chariot) This will be a much different team this year.

I like the Compher add a lot but like everybody else in the Red Wing Nation I want the Debrinket trade to happen asap. That would make us a possible playoff team IMHO, despite the strength of the Eastern Conference and our Atlanttic division in particular. Just about every team in the conference is at least "good" and getting better all the time. Stevie is trying to get this done without giving away the farm in the process. Keep your fingers crossed people. This deal will not be a cheap one! There will be some pain involved.
Right now, a lot better than the start of last year. Need to find D pairings early, Leave Jake and Mo alone.

I think you guys have this backwards. If we look at stats historically, (not including last season) Copp is the offensive forward and Comper is the defensive forward. I wouldn't be surprsied Copp was moved to the wing. Possibly having Kasper as the 3C.
I’m thinking Copp tries out first line wing, DeBrincat – Larkin – Copp, at least once, so we can call it the Michigan line

The wings still lack big time star power but we are deep up front. Especially as each year we let go of players & the prospects start making the lineup. No one is talking about Sprong but he is a great addition for cheap. Kostin needed. Compher solid middle 6. Ghost & Holl fill our gaping defense of last year. We just bagged Debrincat so we are better & we are coming.
