  1. 😂kane is not signing in detroit man

Veleno has zero future in detroit and will be dealt before the 24-25 season

  2. If Raymond plays on the second line, it really just benefits him, especially against teams with a weaker second line.

  3. Great show as always.
So what do you do with the kids? Soderblom, kasper ect. Are they going to stay in Grand Rapids the whole season, or do you stay getting rid of the bottom six guys that we know won’t be on the team long term? Veleno is tradable. Love fabbri yet his knees are shot and is always injured. Seems there will be a log ram really soon.

  4. I think the biggest x factor this season is right D if one of Holl, Lindstrom, Gostisbehere has a career year it could put red wings in playoffs.

  5. Here's an interesting thought. I can't remember what podcast I heard it on, but Detroit lost 18 games last season by 1 goal. If you get a 40 goal pace out of Debrincat, so a 50% pace. and his WAR% is 94%, even if they win, say only 6 of those games (less than half), on increased goal production alone from Raymond, DeBrincat, and Sprong, then you're in the wild card spot last season. Now, Boston running away with it definitely lowered the points floor to get in, but Detroit was one of the only teams to beat Boston in regulation this past season, so yeah, this team should contend for the wild card, and maybe even squeak in.

The depth signings are to force players like Soderblom, Kasper, Mazur, Edvinsson and Lombardi to prove their way in. Danielson will be at least 1 year out, unless he has a Seider-like showing.

  6. If the plan is to win a Stanley Cup with DeBrincat on the team, where does he fit in that mix? Is he the best forward on a champion? 3rd best on a champion?

  7. A depth approach to team accountability on both sides of the puck will be key. Good luck wings being back in the playoffs for 24 is on your blades. 🎈

  8. I see Alex DeBrincat making a major impact in these 4 areas.
    1) late game 6 on 5 where they need a game tying goal
    2) late game 5 on 6 where they need a goal to seal a close game
    3) Overtime. DeBrincat Larkin and Seider starting in 3 on 3 overtime? i don’t think I need to explain more than that.
    4) shootouts. DeBrincat is probably going take either the first or second shot in any shootout they get to.

  9. Absolutely no reason to play Kasper or Nate on RedWings…
People getting way to caught up like this is the Pistons or Lions.

If we get past Trade Deadline with injuries and need a 3C "yes" move one of them up.
But other than that scenario absolutely no reason for it.
Not good for there development or the team.
