    Great picture man, Mario was special that season even at 37 after all the injuries he managed to put up 90 points in 70 games on a terrible Pens team during the dead puck era

    Absolutely amazing picture of who I consider the greatest hockey player ever, not just for his career as a player, but for doing everything in his power to keep the Penguins in Pittsburgh. In my eyes he’s the greatest athlete of any sport.

    Lemieux was definitely my ‘favorite player on another team’ growing up. Sens fan, but cheered for Mario as well.
