What I believe is happening is the Flyers were in such a rush to trade players like Kevin Hayes, Sanheim & DeAngelo that GMs took notice on diminished value the Flyers were willing to accept. That seems to have a cascading effect as the Flyers are clearly not being offered acceptable value on players they are willing to trade. A few injuries during the regular season for other teams could change that reality quickly. The concern is Flyers might have enough returning (older) players & nice mixture of youth that they might be .500 club. Jones & Briere know that is not ideal but they might have to bite the bullet and let team just win games rather than just trading players away for below value and setting a bench mark of being push-overs in future trades.

THE day they hired CHUCKLES was the WORST day in FLYERS history! The first clue to not hire this ALBATROSS was the CAP HELL he put the WILD in. History repeats itself!! The RISTO trade should have been his DEMISE but no the organization let him stay and give him an overpaid contract and SANHIEM a to much $ one too! By the time the alarm went off he lost more years of a winner with DEANGELO! What a mess!!
North of 3mil for Frost is nuts, but you may be right. You know better. I like Tony D, I thought he really made the Flyers better in the first 25 last season. I like Torts better though…and if he can't gel with Tony then it is – what it is. 4-5 year of Frost is disheartening, I hope they hold off. Its 4-5 yrs of mediocrity.

Its sad the Flyers could not shed Sanheim, another year of stupid stick penalties. We can count on Sanheim to take the dumbest stick penalties at the worst of times. Playing shorthanded has not worked well. Rather have Tony than travis, but Tony is on waivers. I wish LeClair luck working with prospects, the pool is weak. The prospects ya'll mentioned do not thrill
