Why hasn’t been brought up to the Flames? Calgary native but live in the U.S. so don’t have much exposure to what is happening with the team.

Needs to play in the NHL next year, or at least get a decent amount of games to keep progressing.
They’ll risk stagnation if they leave him in the AHL all year
