Duhaime will be out of the NHL within 2 years, unless we either fire Dean or he drops the gritty bullshit. Look how many injuries we had this year. ALL due to physical play. Or look at Dumba’s stats since Dean has been coaching. He’s an offensive “D” forced to play physical because that’s all Dean knows. His points have dropped to nothing and he’s hurt half the season. You can’t build your team around “grit” when your the smallest team in the league. We need a coach who can develop and grow talent. Or our #1 prospect pool and Brackett are going to waste. Just like Rossi and Addison! They’ve been rockstars since they were 5 years old but under Dean, 1 sits in the press box and the other can’t even make the team!
The big variable is Rossi. If he develops and is truly ready, the Wild will be a bitch to play against this season. I still feel Guerin will survey the landscape and find a team friendly solid player down the road. If duhaime has a solid year, maybe next summer 2 year, 2 million per year. I still hope Shaw can make a comeback, if nothing else, groom him for a position in the organization, love those type of players around 💪
