    This is my crazy fix that won't lose any picks and only a couple young players. Trade Lilligren , Robertson and a 2nd pick for Chris Tanev. Trade Brodie , Jarnkrok and Lafferty for picks. Buyout Murray. Sign UFAs Thomas Tatar around 3m, Josh Bailey around 3m , Nic Holden 1.5m. That adds a two way player Tatar to help Tavares line. Bailey as 3rd C adds great depth to 3rd line. Tanev and Holden add defensive strong D-men we need. Keep Giordano to play half of year so both him and Holden are fresh for playoff depth on D.
    Bertuzzi – Matthews – Marner
    Tatar – Tavares – Nylander
    Knies – Bailey – Domi
    Holmberg – Kampf – Reaves
    Rielly – Tanev
    McCabe – Klingberg
    Holden – Timmins
    Samsonov and Woll in net.(plus a 3rd goalie either Stalock , Elliot ,or Halak .

    I forget who said it but I read recently that they no longer do salary arbitration with both parties present. The arbitrator meets with them individually.

    What about keeping Woll as starting Goalie, murry out, samsanov trade away. With the two out, it reduces salary cap and maybe we can get better defense players if enough space in the cap.

    Since with Goalies so much of it mental and mental headspace can lead to huge fluctuations from year to year in some cases, are you concerned that the gm arguing that he isn't that good and the team doesn't have faith in his ability to be worth that money could get into his head.

    i said exactly to the3.55 and the time period too…. so this means different players will have to be injury wink wink til they save enough then they will have a healthy team

    I don't think it's a kayak if it's open. It's a seated paddle board with sides. Anyway, I still think going to arbitration was a plan all along to open up that 2nd buyout window in the event they couldn't trade Murray. We'll see in a couple days.

    I got into an argument with someone on The Hockey Guy's video. I argued this was the last season Samsonov would be a leaf and he was very insistent this was not the case.

    I called this to be around 3.5 mil and I'm very happy with it. I think he will do well for the team this coming year and kudos to him for getting a raise. On a side note, is producer Drew editing this in a kayak as well? That would be something to see!
