Completely agree, not sure why more people aren't talking about this. 3 years is completely normal, maybe not for a top prospect like Michkov but this is nothing out of the ordinary.
If Michkov was coming over right away, I have zero doubt he'd be on the roster opening night in October. He's already got one year or high end professional experience playing in the KHL, which is the second best league in the world. I am beyond excited about this kid, and the more news that comes out about him, the less risky this pick gets for me.
