  1. Youd think Dubas would finally understand that 1 guy doesnt make a team, no matter how much hes paid. Pens are old and washed up…. They'll miss the playoffs once again this year as Buffalo, NYI, & Ottawa are coming in strong for that last playoff spot.

  2. Kyle again building a top heavy roster with little depth and questionable goaltending.
Not sure how he thinks he’s gonna get any different result, especially when this lineup is old as dirt.

  3. "while there will be doubters, he is confident Pittsburgh can compete for a Cup"
All teams compete for the cup but would they succeed? and the answer is "No" with the high likelihood.

  4. Gotta say, I am a Dubas fan, however, the Penguins are now the oldest team in the NHL. They will run out of gas in April. Just asking too much of the players and their bodies.

  5. I dunno, this straps a horrible contract to the pens for 4 years and doesn't fix the issues the team has, I can't see how they improve here even if somehow he stays healthy and his production doesn't drop off a cliff.

  6. Team getting too old and brittle. 82 games is too long fir the 33 years plus of the 4 four players. Gas tank will be on empty come April.

  7. They may not miss the playoffs but they'll be kicked out first round

  8. must be nice doe dubas to manage a franchise that can contend for a championship, he deserves it after all those years with the leafs lol

  9. I’m a Pens fan but there’s zero chance of them even making the Playoffs. You can’t fix an old team by adding more over 30 players in free agency.

  10. Can't blame them for going all in. It's their last chance to take another cup run even though the odds are stacked against them due to their ages but if they can win one more Cup before they turn the page, this will go down as the most incredible Cup win ever.
