1. I agree with you on the call on Gabe V, just smelled bad. But the LA Kings played well throughout most of the game, except for the time they let in a goal with some confusion behind there own net. They must play better defensively and stay out of the penalty box. GO KINGS GO. Oilers getting much better and so are the Golden Knights. March, into April. GO KINGS GO!

  2. This time around, I was so looking forward to what you might say, and I gotta admit iit was worth the wait. At my age, when the Kings do something that makes me livid, I just shut off said game and expect them to f' it up and lose. I'm rarely disappointed-and shouldn't be after 50+ years of ringing my hands…and sometimes, my ears! This is a completely different team from others that choked year in/year out. But this team was actually built in about as proper a way as is possible. So, are we jinxed? Does the smuck overseeing the league somehow have a magic way of pulling the rug out from under us? I mean, let's face it, unless you're a Ranger's fan, there is no possible way to explain the teams who have had mulitple #1 picks through the years. And let's not kid outselves (edmonton be damned), the Kings had one #1 draft pick and he died twice over his lifetime…once by never making it to the NHL from 1967 and recently he actually kicked the bucket. Frankly, I'd believe as readily that there were two shooters in 1963 as I would believe that bettman's nasty little fingers were inside the plastic balls making sure certain teams always get the #1 pick! Anyway, congratulations to the L.A. Kings as they have-once again-proved their ability to reclaim mediocrity…Did you say your wife had knee surgery? If so, please send her well wishes from Sherman Oaks! rl

  3. It's ok to be grumpy and pissy. Even at young age of 53. That's a real hockey fan in you Eddie.

  4. Kings put themselves in a position to win. They did lose, but they fought hard against a good team.

    Nothing to be ashamed of.
