This is top of my mind as well…. Come on Pinto!
The problem with any Pinto contract is Sanderson. Both have only done one season really. If Sanderson gets an 8 year contract, should Pinto get an equal $ and term? Other than +/-, Pinto stats were impressive for a rookie.
I think this is why we'll see Forsberg start the season on the LTIR

Ill start worrying about pinto like a week before camp, they'reclearly trying to move someone to see how much they can afford to pay him.. im hoping for 1 or 2 years… 2.5 at the very most.. preferably somewhere under 2
I actually think Dorion is just on holidays! lol I imagine a 2×2 for Pinto is good. Take a small raise and get yourself to arbitration rights status at the end of it. he'll be getting paid in 2 years too. He might jump from a 2×2 to a 4×4 type of deal.
