Jr Ducks (youth hockey club) used Lutch for a period of time. I’m unsure if they still are using it but that’s where this jersey is from.
Weird af.
45 was Vatanen’s number. I have an authentic reebok. Looks like someone made a custom jersey with their name on it.
#45 was used by:
Scott McKay 1994
Matt Cullen 1998
Shawn Thornton 2007
Sami Vatanen 2013-2018
Andy Welinski 2019-2021
Colton White 2023
Lutch is generally a lightweight sublimated replica, made in Russia (not authentic with stitching etc). It’s the company that makes KHL sweaters. Some people like the sublimation/printing more since the stomach won’t have that super stiff logo on it, but personally I don’t have any so idk.
edit: looks kinda like Thornton’s signature but not really
Definitely a jersey from a site like DH Gate, not an authentic jersey.
I am not able to read the signature though.
Lutch is the manufacturer who makes European replica jerseys, including a bunch of national teams and KHL teams. You can order from them from the US. Lots of collectors get KHL jerseys from them and they are supposedly good quality.
That being said, I have absolutely no idea what this jersey is let alone why it’s autographed. There are several inaccuracies compared to what the Ducks wear and I’ve never seen a Lutch jersey for an NHL team
I’d recommend posting in /r/hockeyjerseys. The nerds over there would probably love to try to solve this mystery.
